The This role is responsible for leading a team of professional development experts in developing and managing World Vision New Zealand’s country and sector programming strategy. Principle accountabilities include team leadership and programming strategy for effective design monitoring and evaluation of our community programmes. Also key is ensuring all funded programmes and projects are aligned to our Child Well Being outcomes and providing effective financial management and accountability.
You will have proven experience in programme management in a developing world context. You are a great people leader and strategic thinker. Strong financial and budgetary skills are critical, along with ability to network and work collaboratively with external agencies and internal stakeholders. You will have a track record of having successfully managed complex community development programmes and excellent communication and relationship skills to work effectively with both donors and our partners in the field.
At minimum you will have a master’s degree in a relevant discipline, preferably financial and experience. Experience in working in a developing country context, or working with an international development organisation are essential.
