World Vision of New Zealand is committed to protecting your privacy. We have put in place the following terms in order to ensure you have a safe and secure experience on our website.

Any forms submitted on this site require certain personal information. This information is collected in order for us to carry out any transactions generated from this site. These forms are not a requirement for using this site. We collect the following information

  • Contact information (e.g. e-mail addresses).
  • Contact information is used to process donations, provide receipts, send information about World Vision, and to get in touch with our supporters from time to time.
  • Unique identifiers (e.g. World Vision supporter numbers).
  • These are collected from website visitors to assist in matching your current details with our records.
  • Financial information (e.g. credit card numbers). This is used to process the donation that has been made.

The information you provide remains private and is only used for the purposes outlined below. The identity of anyone who contacts us through this website is kept confidential to World Vision of New Zealand. We don't rent, sell or exchange our contact lists.

We are happy to provide you at any time with any personal information that we hold about you. If it is wrong we will correct it. To request access to your personal information please contact us.

Giving you control - Communication from World Vision

From time to time, World Vision will send you communications that we feel are appropriate to the nature of your relationship with us. For example, if you sponsor a child, you will receive updates about the work being done in that child's community. If you make a donation to a relief appeal, you will receive information about future relief appeals.

If at any stage you feel that you are receiving communications of any kind from us that you do not want, please call us on 0800 800 776 and let us know. Alternately you can email World Vision at nzcommunications@worldvision.org.nz (needs to be updated on the website, still the old email)

We do not wish to send communications to you that you do not want to receive.

Any electronic communication we send you (either by email or text) except for messages confirming a transaction with us, will always have an unsubscribe facitlity.
