Written by teachers, for teachers, Feast or Famine and Feed the World provide schools with an opportunity to experience the benefits of integrated learning without having to start from scratch.
Based on rich and authentic cross-curricular themes, each CD includes: suggested lesson sequences for seven learning areas based on achievement objectives from The New Zealand Curriculum; additional teacher resources; assessment tasks with rubrics; and student worksheets.
Introductory notes outline how to get started with integrated learning and suggest how to incorporate social action.

Sharon Crosbie, Kathryn Lett and Paula Pierce between them have taught 25 years in 11 schools including primary, intermediate and secondary across all learning areas.
The integrated units demonstrate they know what it takes to make learning meaningful for students and resources current and easy-to-use for teachers.
Designed for Years 7 to 10 teachers of all curriculum areas, this workshop covers: the benefits of integrated learning; different models of integration and how they help meet requirements of The New Zealand Curriculum; how to plan an integrated unit.
Participants also get the chance to meet and share ideas with teachers from other schools.
