More about this community

The Concepción community development programme is located to the south of Intibucá in the municipality of Concepción. World Vision has reached 31 communities, benefiting 1000 families (7000 individuals) directly and 8500 families (60,000 individuals) indirectly. World Vision Honduras has operated in Concepción and neighbouring Camasca since December 1998. With your support, community leaders now have the capacity to manage and execute community development projects focused on children's well-being. Projects promoting healthy spaces and lifestyles have contributed to diminishing rates of acute respiratory diseases and diarrhoea in children.
