Thanks to training and a sewing machine provided by World Vision, Arifa is now supporting her family through her tailoring business
|
Arifa and her husband were struggling to feed their four children on his low income until Arifa joined a development group established by Laudob ADP. She got the chance to take part in a six-month sewing programme and in due course received a sewing machine from World Vision Bangladesh. With the help of a loan from the development group, she was able to buy enough fabric to start her tailoring business. Now, she makes clothes for many of the women and children in the village and is earning enough to support her family.
