We’re asking you, the youth of New Zealand, to use your voice

This September the newly elected New Zealand Government will begin their term. We want you to let them know what they should be doing to stand united with Syria by answering this question:

“If you were New Zealand’s next Prime Minister, what would you do to help children and families affected by the Syria Crisis?”

Tell us your response through our form below and let your voice be heard. Be as creative as you’d like - write a story, pen a poem or record a song, but don’t forget to get your submissions in by 6pm, 30 September 2017. World Vision will collate your ideas into one report and present it to key members of Parliament. There may also be an opportunity for those with the best ideas to have your say in person!

Submission form

If you were New Zealand’s next Prime Minister, what would you do to help children and families affected by the crisis in Syria and those who have been forced to flee?
What decisions would you make, and why? How would you spend your Government budget? How would you encourage New Zealand businesses to help? What would you say if you were invited to speak at the UN?
