On 6 February, a catastrophic 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye and Syria. Thousands have been injured and the death toll is now in the tens of thousands.

"We have not seen suffering and devastation of this scale in over a decade. Entire streets and villages have been reduced to rubble, whole families killed, and millions left homeless," says Johan Mooij, World Vision Syria Response's National Director.
