The latest military offensive on Mosul has the potential to become the largest global humanitarian operation of 2016. World Vision is on the ground assisting those fleeing for their lives to camps in the Kurdish Region of Iraq.
Five years of war. Five years too long. The war has forced more than 11 million people from their homes, at least 250,000 people are dead, and every day more refugees flee Syria to save their families.
The violent earthquake struck the Solomon Islands affecting over 7,000 people, destroying over 300 homes and damaging roads, bridges and health clinics. Our teams are providing immediate relief and coordinating with the Solomon Islands Government to assess the ongoing needs.
