“I believe my future is bright”
“My name is Mirriam, and I am 16 years old. I live with my parents in Onga.
“Through sponsorship, my life has changed in many good ways. What is special about my sponsor is that they care about me and know my name.
“When I receive a letter, I feel happy and encouraged because I know someone is thinking about my life and my future.
“My sponsor has helped me to continue with school and stay healthy. I receive school materials, and now I attend school every day without worry.
“My family also benefited from the livestock project, where we received a cow. When the cow came to our home, it brought hope to my family and helped us see a better future.
“Because of the cow, my nutrition has improved. We now drink milk at home, and this helps me grow strong and have energy for learning. I can concentrate better in class and do my schoolwork well. Before, we did not have milk often, but now my body feels healthy.
“The cow has also improved our livelihood. Sometimes we sell milk, and the money helps us buy food and school needs. This has helped my family become stronger and depend less on others.
“I feel proud that my family is becoming more resilient and able to plan for the future.
“I thank my sponsor for helping me and my family. Because of this support, I dream of becoming a nurse so I can help others. I believe my future is bright.”
