"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
- Jesus (Matthew 25:40)

Thanks for joining us in the Matthew 25 Challenge.

Kids suffering from natural disasters, war zones, fleeing Ukraine, living in refugee camps, facing starvation in parts of Africa, are just like the kids in your neighbourhood. Except their homes have been torn apart. They face unimaginable dangers like starvation, trafficking and child marriage.

Join Childhood Rescue now to help the world's most vulnerable children survive, recover and build a future. You'll provide life-saving food, water, medicine, shelter, protection and more. You'll help kids recover from trauma. You'll help the adults around them to keep them healthy and safe. You'll help children who've lost everything to build a future. Every $1 you give to help kids in danger will provide $6 of urgent support.

"One day, I walked to the fields to join my mum and dad picking beans. There were rebels all around them. Our neighbour warned me to run because the rebels were about to kill my parents. So I ran. A few months later I felt brave enough to look for them. I found their bones in the bushes."

"There is a lot of stigma against orphans of war. People feel that we are nothing without a family. I heard about this place we can go for support. At first, I couldn't join the other children because I felt very sorry about my parents. But now we play together, and the group sessions make me feel better."

"I like this place so much... it makes me feel happy again. They also teach us to read, how to write and we get some training so I can complete my education and get a job in the future. I need to be supported with my education, to complete it. When I grow up, I want to be a school mistress."

Faith, hope and love drive everything we do to make incredible change in the world.

Faith, hope and love drive everything we do to make incredible change in the world.

A story of faith: Jesus was known for spending time with those on the fringes of society, always seeing potential for change and transformation where others could not. His example motivates us to live and love at the edges and to find potential for transformation in the toughest situations.

A story of hope: Jesus presented a radically different view of how life, relationships and society could be. He said he came so that everyone might have a full life. This gives us a glimpse of how things could be and motivates us to work for justice for all.

A story of love: We believe that love has the power to overcome all. The unconditional love Jesus demonstrated for the sick and the hungry, for children and widows, for prostitutes and foreigners, for friend and even for foe, sets the standard we aspire to today. Love drives us to serve all people in need today, regardless of race, gender, age, location, religion or social status.
