Tubehoneza is a peri-urban community in central Rwanda. Most families here depend on crops and livestock for all their food and income. The soil is of poor quality, so crops are low and often don't provide enough food.

Children need to help out with the farm and household chores, which means only one third attend school regularly.

The number of households who have lost someone to HIV and AIDS is significant, as is the number of vulnerable children.

Partnering together for a sustainable future.

By sponsoring children in Tubehoneza community, you are making an incredible difference in vulnerable children’s lives.

Your support is helping Tubehoneza community by improving the physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of the most vulnerable children.

Through decades of experience, we have proven that the most effective way to help a child is to strengthen their entire community, caring for every child along the way. In fact, because of these community-focused solutions, for every child you sponsor, 4 more benefit too!

Together, we are tackling some of the root causes of poverty and equipping the community to prepare for the future. We're now building confidence within the community to continue developing their new skills and changing children's lives.
