In Stong, families grow rice and vegetables to feed their children and earn money.

Seasonal droughts and flooding can mean poor crop yields. When this happens, children often don't get enough to eat.

Children frequently have to travel long distances to school, where the quality of teaching is poor. Girls are often kept home, and early marriage is common.

Partnering together for a sustainable future.

By sponsoring children in Stong community, you are making an incredible difference in vulnerable children’s lives.

Your support is helping Stong community by improving the physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of the most vulnerable children.

Through decades of experience, we have proven that the most effective way to help a child is to strengthen their entire community, caring for every child along the way. In fact, because of these community-focused solutions, for every child you sponsor, 4 more benefit too!

Together, we are tackling some of the root causes of poverty and equipping the community to prepare for the future. We're now building confidence within the community to continue developing their new skills and changing children’s lives.

“I talked about how physical discipline affects us, at the Commune Committee on International Children’s Day. Now, teachers and parents are using positive discipline instead.”
