I’m so happy to greet you on behalf of all sponsored children, their families and other community members here. I’m very thankful for your generous support that has brought so much change in children’s lives.
When we started partnering here in 2011, children suffered from lack of good health, education, rights, and protection. Families could not meet their children’s needs because of limited income, and vulnerable childcare and protection systems. Some families were also trapped due to family or community debt obligations.
With your support, we began to address these challenges.
Along the way, we faced challenges together: floods, drought, COVID-19, the protests and political upheaval in 2024, and the global economic crisis.
Yet the work continued, thanks to sponsors like you and the commitment of community groups, local government, and support from the local administration. And today, so much has changed.
With you by our side, we made significant improvements across maternal and child healthcare services, education, family income, women’s empowerment, and child protection.
Over the 15 years, you helped 4,460 children through early education, laying the foundation for them to succeed in school.
One of these children, Brishty, is now studying at university. Rakib has a job working in the government, and Jhuma is head of the local child forum, leading lasting change in her community.
Your faithful support and kindness have shaped the future of children, their parents and the whole area. Futures now full of opportunities.
