With your help we are distributing monthly food rations

World Vision has stepped up its operations in South Sudan in response to recent outbreaks of violence. “Children are suffering extreme deprivation, including malnourishment, displacement, emotional distress and poor health” - Perry Mansfield, National Director of World Vision South Sudan.

In partnership with the WFP our monthly staple food rations contain cereals, pulses, vegetable oil and salt. Families are also given food vouchers to allow them to purchase fresh ingredients from local markets.

How our partnership with the WFP saves lives:

  • We go where needed most. We are currently partnering across 12 countries to feed the most vulnerable.

  • We focus on malnourished children under five years and pregnant and breast-feeding mothers.

  • We teach essential feeding practices to families, ensuring better nutrition for children in the future.

  • We continuously work to improve our operations to reduce costs.
