Thank you for joining us and for being part of this online community.

We think this is a great way to raise awareness and funds for the world’s most vulnerable children. We do have a couple of rules though for posting and sharing messages on your fundraising page! Please check out our guidelines here.
Group organisers of any fundraising teams need to "claim the team" to activate the teams fundraising, and manage any fundraisers that join the team.

The team only needs to be claimed once by the group organiser, if you accidently click on 'claim a team' that is already claimed you will see a message letting you know the team is already claimed and you can close out of it.

Posting an update to your online fundraising page is a great way to tell your supporters more about what you are fundraising for. You can post updates on your progress and why you are helping change everything by bringing clean water to children living in the world's toughest places.

  1. Login to your My World Vision and select ‘My fundraising’ and the page you want to update.
  2. Select the ‘post an update’ button.
  3. Write what you want to post, and you can add a picture to jazz it up!
  4. Select the ‘post’ button and your update will go up on your page straight away.
Remember to share your page to your social media and friends and family – to make sure you reach your fundraising target. #40HOURNZ

By setting up your own fundraising page on World Vision’s website, you can make a difference with what you have, from where you are.

We’ve made it easy and fun for you to personalise your page and spread the word about your fundraising. Start fundraising now!
Fundraising with others is a great way to stay motivated and reach your goal. The simplest way to fundraise as part of a team is for you and your friends to create your own individual fundraising pages. Then you can create a team page and invite your friends to join your team. If a team already exists, you can find and join the team from your fundraising page in My World Vision.

Get started now by creating your own individual page and your team page.
From your fundraising page in My World Vision you can email your contacts to ask them to support you and your cause. Inspire others to help you change the world by sharing your fundraising page on social media. The more you spread the word, the more you’ll raise and the more children you’ll help to reach.
Every fundraising page has an end date of three months from when you start so that your hard work can start transforming the lives of children around the world as soon as possible. You can edit your end date when you create your fundraising page or afterwards in My World Vision.

Once your fundraising has reached its end date, your page will no longer accept donations. Your page will still exist, so you have a record of the difference you have made.
Where children are vulnerable to poverty, violence, exploitation and life-threatening circumstances, World Vision is there. That’s where the funds you raise go. Where they are most needed.

Your fundraising dollars help provide life-saving aid in emergencies and build sustainable, thriving communities. World Vision reaches 1 new person every 10 seconds with clean water, provides millions of children with nutritious food, healthcare and education, and protects children wherever they are vulnerable, all with your support.

Last year, 83.3% of all the money World Vision New Zealand received went to our development work overseas. For a detailed breakdown please read our Annual Report.
